Dental Team – Plano, TX

Meet Our Dedicated Team

Even a highly educated and skilled dentist like Dr. Kung still needs an excellent team to keep their dental office running smoothly at all times. Our team members at Vitality Dental have one goal: to help every patient, no matter how anxious they might be, smile during every visit. We’re always ready for a friendly conversation or to address any worries you might have. Take the time to get more familiar with our team by reading below.

Dental hygienist Nancy

Nancy, Dental Hygienist

Nancy works hard to help each patient feel comfortable throughout their visit while educating them so they can take great care of their oral health between appointments. She is a graduate of UT Austin with two Bachelor's - a degree in chemistry, and she completed her dental training at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Today, she is certified in nitrous oxide monitoring and diode laser treatment. She is a proud foodie, always searching for the next interesting meal, so she enjoys traveling. She also likes to go hiking and take pictures of the scenery she encounters.

Dental assistant Sam

Sam, Dental Assistant

Helping people look and feel their best is Sam’s passion, so we’re thrilled to have her on our team. She grew up in Iran and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in accounting before joining Vitality Dental. She also has certifications in insurance, nitrous oxide sedation, and CPR. Life outside of the dental office is very busy thanks to her husband and 3 daughters, and in her free time, she enjoys oil painting and reading books about different cultures and societies.

Dental assistant Adriana

Adriana, Dental Assistant

Nothing makes Adriana happier than seeing a patient’s confidence grow thanks to the new smile they’ve achieved at Vitality Dental. She’s originally from Dallas and attended Concorde Career College. She is proud to say that she is living the American Dream, as she is a first-generation advanced education graduate. Her mother moved to the U.S. at age 13 so Adriana’s grandfather could receive medical treatment. Every day, she strives to make her mother proud and thank her for the chance to live in the land of opportunity. She is recently married, and in her off time, she is a nursery worker at a local church for children ages 4 and under—she loves kids! She’s also big into karaoke, and her go-to song is September by Earth, Wind, & Fire.

Front desk administrator Maddie

Maddie, Front Desk

Maddie is always friendly, always smiling, and she’ll likely be one of the first faces you see when you step through our doors. She considers every patient to be a part of her extended family, and you’ll be amazed by the little details she remembers about you and your loved ones from visit to visit. She attended Collin College and also has certifications in nitrous oxide sedation and CPR. She has been married for 3 years, and she and her husband are excited to welcome their first child early next year. When not at the dental office, you’ll most likely find Maddie crafting, making wood signs, decals, or welcome mats.

Front desk administrator Melody

Melody, Front Desk

Melody loves working with our team and getting to know our patients, and she has the amazing ability to make someone feel like an old friend even if it is their first time visiting Vitality Dental. Originally from Georgia, she is married to a very supportive husband, and they have 2 daughters that remind Melody of herself in different ways. She likes watching Hoarding: Buried Alive, and frequently uses it as inspiration to clean her house! As a result, she is very good at finding things—the saying in her home is, “If mama can’t find it, then it’s really lost.”

Dental office manager Kathy

Kathy, Office Manager

We rely on Kathy to keep our patients and team well-organized day to day, and as you’ll see at your appointments, she’s really good at it! Her favorite part of her job is seeing how our dental care impacts our patients, watching someone grow in their dental knowledge and gain a beautifully strong set of teeth that they can’t wait to show off. A Plano native, she likes to spend her free time finding hole-in-the-wall restaurants, traveling, and watching rom-coms and indie movies. In the past, she has attended multiple 10-day silent meditation retreats—be sure to ask her about them if you’re interested in a truly unique experience!
